What Is A Heat Pump? How Does It Work?
A typical heat pump installation consists of two parts: an outdoor and an indoor section . The outdoor section looks exactly like a central air conditioner in both size and appearance. The indoor section is a coil with either an air handler or a gas furnace depending on the application.
Victoria: Perfect Climate Conditions For Heat Pumps
Victoria’s mild climate makes it one of the most advantageous areas for a heat pump installation . Daily temperatures rise above 30°C on an average of only one day per year and fall below -5°C on an average of only 2 nights per year. Therefore, in most days of the year, an air source heat pump will be able to extract enough heat from the outside air to heat your home.
Climatuff™ Compressors
Trane designs and manufacture the finished compressor, and also build most of the internal parts. Each one meets our engineer’s specifications.
Durability by Design
Trane's exclusive Comfort-R feature represents the ultimate in comfort. More consistent temperatures, greater humidity control and better air heating.
Spine Fin Coil
Heat transfer is one of the most important factors in achieving cooling efficiencies. Trane’s proprietary coil design, Spine Fin, has proven to be superior to any other technology.
Weatherguard II™ Top
We use only the most durable materials like the Powder Paint finish in the manufacturing process, materials that have passed the test for strength and resistance to stress.
