Government Energy Rebates for Energy Efficient Systems
Savings with LiveSmart BC
The Province of British Columbia is extending and improving its popular LiveSmart BC: Efficiency Incentive Program, where homeowners can receive more than $7,000 in government energy rebates for energy efficient systems and energy saving improvements beginning on or after April 1, 2011.
The combined government grants for eligible systems improvement differ by area of residence

* Amounts shown are the maximum grants available for the most common applications of a 95% AFUE Gas Furnace installation or an Energy Star rated air force heat pump installation. Eligibility criteria are to be verified by your independent Trane dealer and the certified Energy Advisor.
** A ground or water source earth-energy system (sometimes called a “geothermal system”) that conforms to the CAN/CSA-C448 Standard from the Canadian Standards Association. A company qualified by the Canadian Geo Exchange Coalition (CGC) must install the new system or a complete replacement of an existing system (new heat pump unit and new loop). The CGC must also certify the system after installation. Visit geo-exchange.ca for a list of qualified companies and certification requirements.
Amounts shown include the $100 bonus received for installation of efficient systems such as a Furnace, or a Heat Pump, installed by a TECA Quality First or HRAI Skilltech Certified Professional.
